French street artist Kidult is once again giving away a select number of tees for free, this time based on fashion house Hermès and in our fine London.
Kidult seems to like to paint with a paintbrush of hype. Launching into the public eye with his “KID” attack on the Supreme store in New York, using a fire extinguisher as a spray can, the boy knows how to get peoples attention. Recently he set about his latest project, giving away t-shirts outside Colette that featured the store’s logo twisted into a Kidult fashion.
For his second venture in “BRANDalizing”, he is giving away faux Hermès tees right outside the Hermès store in London’s Bond Street area at 3pm this afternoon. If you want one, I suggest you get there promptly (if not early) as I doubt there will be many to give away, and he will only be there for 30 minutes.
This is such a cunning combo of three of people’s favourite things; exclusivity, street art & freebies.
Thanks to Yeti in the Basement for the info.
