Footwear brand Clae present a range of styles as part of their Spring/Summer 2012 collection, featuring both low and mid cut models crafted from the sorts of premium materials we’ve come to expect from the more mature trainer brand.
Two new canvas make ups of the Ellington, in Acorn and Oxblood kick things off, a lightweight, low-cut model with a slim, off-white-outsole. They’re followed by their desert boot like sibling, the Strayhorn, in sand coloured suede contrasted by a bright yellow sole unit. My favourite of the selection is the chukka-style navy speckled canvas McQueen, as I think it’s the piece that presents the most unique offering, with the solid leather paneling complimenting the speckled canvas nicely.
For those looking for a decent crossover between smart footwear and sneaker styles, Clae is right on the money. The pieces below are all available at Commonn now.
