Puma Clyde x UNDFTD – Ballistic Pack

This latest instalment from long term collaborators Puma and LA’s UNDFTD sees the Puma Clyde get a spring/summer make over, with the results on point as always.

Although this one is aimed at the spring/summer seasons with the five cheerful shades of pastel, there is some seriously rugged materials being used on this release. Mainly it’s the ballistic nylon that gives this shoe a tougher aesthetic and feel, with the history of this material dating back to World War II, where it was used to protect wearers from flying debris and fragmentation. Hopefully none of you will be using these shoes for those reasons, though. The classic Clyde styling needs no explanation, but the added finishing touches such as the suede toecap and suede detailing on the heel and tongue take the style up another level.

This release is another example of the success these two brands have achieved through making use of simple aesthetics and classic styling, while providing something different and new.

These will be available from Size? and other Puma stockists from 10th April, with a full size run for both male and female sneaker fanatics.
