Suffoca ‘Never Expected’

Suffoca presents it’s first batch of new products for 2012, following nicely from December’s ‘Timeless Dedication‘ drop with five new T-shirts and the brand’s first button-up shirt.

The tee designs once again feature new interpretations of the brands regularly appearing characters, alongside a simple grey on black ‘S’ logo piece. Suffoca produce unique and detailed illustrations unlike any other brand in their field, and it’s really interesting to watch the story develop with each release. Of the 5 new designs, the classic illustration of the beanman with ‘Bean Run’ has to be my pick. The real highlight here is the custom plaid shirt, constructed from a coloured flannel, and finished with a number of little details – the ‘S’ logo embroidered on the cuff, ‘bean’ woven tab on the chest pocket, and contrasting blue top button.

Once again, it’s great to see the brand slowly expand their range one piece at a time, following on from custom tees, hoods, and crewnecks with their first woven. As always, Suffoca also provide a short film to accompany the range, which you can check out above. all of the items featured are available to purchase from Suffoca now.

Agree with @The Engineer as much that the brand doesn’t seem to be moving on. Seems like the same as the previous bunch (which I actually preferred) but it is so strong like @FIY AHBUN said that it’s not the end of the world. All very wearable. Not feeling the shirt but that’s simply down to colours rather than style or quality.

Good it’s still strong designs but need to see something special in the new release.
