Washington D.C. based brand Durkl have released their first drop for Spring 2012, featuring animal print caps & two-toned shirts, and have invited Chuck Inglish of The Cool Kids fame to model the season’s looks.
Durkl is a brand that I feel are hugely underrated in the United Kingdom currently – they consistently put out apparel that strays from the usual conventions most brands stick to, and luckily, this drop is no different. My favourite piece is the aqua/fuchsia two-tone shirt – though part of the Spring collection, it’s an ideal Summer statement. In addition to this the ‘animal print’ Safari 5 panels are incredibly interesting, and ‘though I’m not a huge fan of strap backs, I can see these working well.
The full range includes plenty of other fleece, woven, and headwear options, which you can see modeled by Chuck below (view it all in more detail here). Select items are now available from both Angry Daves and Urban Industry.
