We’ve been watching the scene in South Wales grow steadily for some time now, and the video above documents one thing that’s right at the heart of it – the Astroid Boys.

The first part in a new featurette takes in opinions from the folks at Freestyle Newport, Dave from Cardiff based Droneboy Laundry, and other local DJs and promoters, as they discuss the band’s journey to date. Astroid Boys are definitely a marmite artist, and their new music, which see’s them fuse their hip hop, grime, and dubstep background with hardcore punk, will no doubt only intensify that.
