JanSport Skip Yowell Collection

Those with a keen eye on the US blogs will already know of the Skip Yowell Collection from JanSport, as it hit the States last season, but now we have it in the UK.

For those less familiar with this collection, it is JanSports homage to co-founder Skip Yowell, a climbing madman who happens to make fantastic bags. Taking a heritage approach, this capsule collection sees four classic JanSport shapes (Great Bend, Pleasanton, Estes Park and Fort Hayes) all given a high quality makeover. The bulk of the bags are made from waxed cotton twill, with the details in a soft premium Brown leather and nice antique style metal hard wear.

JanSport fans will recognise the Great Bend backpack from the HUF collaboration back in October last year, and will also remember how quickly it vanished off the shelves. These Skip Yowell bags are equally as limited, so if you like one, don’t hesitate in copping one.

Currently available in very select stores, the product is being drip fed into the UK bag by bag, so keep a very keen eye on the websites below to grab the one you want. Ranging in price from £200 – £350, these are not your usual priced JanSport bags, and the quality of the material does thankfully reflect that.

The Estes Park and Pleasanton are available now from The Buttery Store and Oi Polloi. Keep those eyes locked on for the other two to follow.
