Nike Air Force 1 Deconstructed Premium (Obsidian)

Thirty years since its inception, Nike’s Air Force 1 model still has strong appeal and holds its ground well in the vast modern landscape of sneaker and footwear culture in 2012.

This release sees somewhat of an update of the classic basketball footwear design. The upper is fully constructed of suede, which also subtracts the padding for a less bulky and more slim lined affair than usual. The materials look on point and the choice of obsidian, white and the gum outsole combine perfectly for a classic look, keeping things simple. The leather tab on the heel is a subtle accent that lends well to this make up and gives it a great finishing touch.

These should go down well with those “OG” fans of the AF1, while also appealing to newcomers alike.
