BNJMN is a true talent in electronic music. His take on dance music incorporates pure musicality. He creates a range of moods both melodic and ambient, these are feats made evident in album releases ‘Plastic World’ and ‘Black Square’. This week his side project ‘Singing Statues’ release a free EP entitled No Disguise on the imprint Astro:Dynamics. The 4 track release takes us out of the dance music realms, down a more guitar laden road, setting apart from his previous works. The guitar rhythms inject a loose dynamic to the tracks and the structured percussion pulls the arrangements in for some beautiful pieces of music. The signature BNJMN ambience and atmospheres hold strong throughout the EP with the colourful synths and vocals. There is word that the project will progress to a full length album later on in the year, but for now, enjoy downloading the free EP below.
