ellesse Heritage: City Portraits Instagram/Twitter Challenge

May 10th marks the first day of the City Portraits Instagram/Twitter Challenge from ellesse Heritage. The part of their City Portraits project where you can take part and share your very own city.

ellesse Heritage only recently launched ‘City Portraits’, a series of short films following creatives from three major cities – Berlin, london and New York. You can see the films here. Now it is your chance to take part and show off your city. The idea of the challenge is to take a photo a day and each photo to follow the ‘theme of the day’. The themes can be interpreted however you creatively see fit, and that is the fun bit, these are your photos, so make them of whatever you choose and then share them with everyone else taking part.

Targeted at Instagram users, although this concept works perfectly direct with twitter, ellesse are asking for a photo a day influenced or inspired by what ever theme is planned and then uploaded with either the city portraits hashtag (#CityPortraits) or @ellesseheritage or both. The end result will be a varied and unique insight into individuals views in their cities and day-to-day lives. This is a very interesting concept and I for one am looking forward to seeing the photos that get submitted.

Day one starts today (May 10th). If you wish to take part, feel free and follow the themes above. To follow what images are uploaded keep an eye on #CityPortraits and @ellesseheritage.
