Lacoste Hallandale SS12

For Spring/Summer 2012, Lacoste present the latest version of their Hallandale sneaker.

Reminiscent of a serious walking shoe, but given the lifestyle treatment, there’s something very enjoyable about the Hallandale. Lacoste can be very hit & miss with their footwear, but have been known to bang out classics like the Missouri and Mississippi, so it’s good to see them performing well again with this one.

A rich colourway of Navy and Brown, with White and Yellow pops makes the shoe look more like an Autumn/Winter product than Spring/Summer, but there’s no reason why you can’t shelf them until it cools down again. Red hiking laces and brass eyelets add the necessary touches to give the shoe’s styling some outdoor authenticity.

Let’s hope that this hark back to the glory days of Lacoste sneakers is a sign of good things to come. For now, you can pick up a pair of the Hallandale’s as your nearest Lacoste shop or online at for £68.
