Nike Air Max 97 CSV (Soar/White/Silver)

The latest Air Max 97 CSV receives a cool and simple splash of Soar, the perfect colour for the lightweight runner this summer.

We’ve seen the 97 a couple of times already this year and near to the end of last year, not once has it been a disappointment. The most recent colourways have seemed to give rise to a new wave of popularity for the 97, notedly the Sport Red and Midnight Fog Vac Tech’s. Featuring an almost monochrome coloration on a canvas and rubber upper, balanced on top of one of the most distinctive air max soles is a trend that isn’t failing.

The shoe follows the same technology focused route that we are seeing a lot of fashion taking nowadays. The hi-tech aesthetic is reminiscent of a Hyperfuse treatment or the ‘no-sew’ application. The pile of jargon associated with this 97 is the CSV treatment. The CSV technology applies transparent synthetic overlays and reflective elements to provide increased visibility in poor light. The shoe also features a waffle like outsole running along the full length midsole.

Perfectly unique amongst is predecessors and peers due to its entirely synthetic construction, the paramount comfort and durability provided by this shoe does succeed the rest. In this soar colourway, there’s not many other Nike runners that are worth their money quite as much as these in regards to durability and style.

Dropping at some point this month, these are available to pre-order now from Crooked Tongues for £130.
