Nike Air Yeezy II design sketches

After giving you the full low-down on the Air Yeezy II UK release yesterday, today we take a look at the original design sketches.

Whenever I get the opportunity to see original sneaker design sketches, I get excited. Not sure exactly what it is, but maybe it’s making a more solid connection between sneaker design and art, or maybe it’s that ability to see a little further into the mind of the designer who’s products you idolise. Maybe it’s just another level of geekiness to explore. Whatever it is, something about it is very exciting.

Here we get to have a look at original design sketchs for the Nike Air Yeezy II. I won’t go into any detail about the shoe and the design, as I wrote an essay about that yesterday (read it here). Instead, I’m just going to sit tight and let you revel in the sketches below. Silent, like an art gallery assistant.
