Patta Spring/Summer 2012

Dutch streetwear titans Patta drop some of that Amsterdam goodness with their Spring/Summer 2012 collection.

This collection sees Patta take on the classic summer silhouettes of T-shirts and tanks with the addition of lightweight outerwear, a button down denim shirt, chinos, shorts, headwear and footwear. As usual the brand come through with crisp colours and clean cut designs. There’s a fairly strong American varsity sportswear aesthetic running through the collection, particularly with the fleece, coaches jacket, varsity jacket and Ebbets Field cap. The standout piece for me is the burgundy wool coaches jacket, with a sharp finish and nice colouring that make this one not to miss.

I’m also anticipating a closer look at the footwear as nothing is overly visible in this lookbook, but it looks to be another collaboration with Kangaroos. The collection will be available st select UK retailers, including Hanon and The Hideout from the first week of June.

Clean. Nice collection. Graphics are a little safe and repetitive, but other than that, Patta is keeping it on point.
