Raised By Wolves SS12

Canada’s Raised By Wolves have delivered a tight collection of tees, tanks and headwear this Spring and Summer, already received incredibly well in their native lands, with most of their headwear already sold out on their online store. Good news is, the range is now available in limited numbers in the UK.

Most of the attention on apparel appears to be focused on the leopard and Liberty floral print pocket tees. Unfortunately, it’s really nothing that hasn’t been done numerous times already, and isn’t likely to do them any favours at the moment. The printed tees and tanks are interesting though, and offer something a little more unique to the brand – the Dark Castle tee being my personal favourite.

RBW get their shine on when it comes to headwear though, with this collection including three simplistic Waxed Cotton 5 Panels, three tartan 5 Panels, and a realtree camo hybrid 6 panel snapback – each of which I think is pretty strong in it’s own way. The collection is available from select UK retailers now, including Angry Daves, The Chimp Store, and Urban Industry.

leopard print pocket and slogan tees.

Also, what happened to look books that at least showed the damn product. Makes me think Honour Over Glory sepia toned shit books might actually be doing it right.

Far from an original or groundbreaking collection, but Raised by Wolves have been two steps behind ever since they started. The stuff sells well enough so they clearly have a following, but I’m not buying it personally.

One of their vests has the symbol for “coefficient of lift” on it – a technical term for the performance characteristics of an aircraft’s wings.
I wonder if they even realise it?
