Last night saw both followers of Converse and Footpatrol’s collaborations descend into Soho for the launch of their joint effort, the Pro Leather Hi & OX pack.
With the rays of sun in short supply at the moment, last night it made a more than welcome appearance, giving way to a launch party sprawling onto the pavement as people soaked up the friendly vibes. The music was playing, the drinks were flowing and the product was on show, everyone’s happy. Whilst the actual display of the pack was less than I was expecting, three shelves displaying the two models and a small display at the front of the shop, this didn’t hinder people having a good evening.
When getting hands on with the product, the quality of the Leather, the cotton lining and the laces are all to be praised. They’re an exceptional quality and both parties should be proud of their efforts. Although the Aztec inspired print isn’t exactly to my tastes, the shoe all round is well executed and I can see it appealing to a market. There’s no doubt that these will be selling fast.
All in all it was a good evening and a big thank you goes out to Footpatrol and Converse for their hospitality.
