Nike Air Woven QS (Black/White & Blue)

Nike’s ‘Woven’ technology and aesthetic is an unmistakable design trademark. We have seen it applied to many of Nike’s footwear designs, such as the Footscape and even more recently on the Lunar Flow, with great results. For this release, it’s back to the original Air Woven, with two new colourways provided for the Spring/Summer seasons.

The Air Woven is one of those out-there designs that Nike seems to execute so well. Even if these aren’t your thing, the interesting aesthetics and design elements throughout the shoe, combined with the Air and Woven technology encourage a closer look and inspection. This release has two colour-ups, a black/white and blue version. The black’s make use of the Woven upper in a subtle way, with the blue’s providing a more experimental approach, exposing the layered effects of the Woven application. Either way, both choices are perfect for the Spring/Summer and provide a far superior piece of footwear design than flip-flops and those damned ‘Toms’…
