Nike LeBron 9 Low (Turquoise/Purple)

The LeBron 9 takes on slightly different aesthetic when cut down to a low model. The standard LeBron 9’s were designed with the game in mind and contain enough modern footwear design applications and elements to put any casual footwear fan off. These low’s though, seem to take on a more relaxed approach design wise.

Utilising Nike’s Hyperfuse technology, the upper is constructed of the lightweight and supportive layering process and combined with a 360 Air unit on the outsole, rather than the 180 Air and Zoom combination found on the original. This turquoise and purple colourway should be noticeable to any NBA fan, and the hornet on the heel confirms the New Orleans Hornets (previously Charlotte Hornets) inspiration. This one is a bright and colourful affair that combines modern footwear technology and futuristic aesthetics which definitely won’t go unnoticed when on foot. LeBron’s ninth instalment  has major relevance right now, with the Miami Heat competing in the NBA Finals right now. The LBJ 9 line is definitely a future classic and could be made even more so, if LBJ finally gets an NBA championship.
