BAPE Sta Print Bape Sta Mid (Black, Navy & Red)

BAPE put their infamous Bape Sta model into mid mode and utilise a Sta print in Black, Navy and Red for their latest pieces of footwear.

The Bape Sta is a contentious piece of footwear in the sneaker industry – some people love it and have multiple pairs, some resent it for it’s obvious imitation of the Air Force 1. It’s definitely a marmite shoe in that sense.

These latest offerings see BAPE dress up the shoe with a print that features loads of little Sta’s, making it remind me of the 2003 Supreme Nike Dunk Hi. This aside, this has to be one of the best Bape Sta colourways in recent years, looking much more like a collectable basketball shoe rather than a used children’s colouring book like some of the Bape Sta’s of the past. These just have that classic element tat re-assures you that they will age well in the collection.

You can find these limited edition shoes in-store and online from BAPE for £170 a pair.

err….so? This feels like the times when you’re watching a sitcom and you don’t know if its a repeat or not.

^ Horses for Courses, there are plenty of Bape enthusiasts who show just as much interest in every release as the people going bezerks for every Nike release.
