Carhartt showcase their new Heritage collection for Autumn/Winter 2012 in this rural lookbook.
After showing you the Carhartt AW12 Mens lookbook on Wednesday we now take a look at the lookbook for their Heritage collection, the more fashion forward section of the brand. Set in some incredibly epic rural scenery, it’s clear that Carhartt didn’t hold back when location scouting for this lookbook. The crisp blue skies, snow topped mountains, leafless forests and log cabins set more than a tone and actually manage to make most of the clothes feel at home whilst also being a juxtaposition at the same time.
As for the collection itself, there’s was no doubt that it would please. Carhartt Heritage has been going from strength to strength in the last few years and has settled nicely as one of the best brands on the market. Always bringing a strong mix of style from their past as well as looking forward, the sub-brand is a firm favourite for many.
This particular collection sees the brand continue to play with their signature colour palettes, a mixture of camo’s and that classic Carhartt brown set off by the use of vivid orange. The additional of full suits to the collection is a fantastic sign and something that the brand will be continuing into the future. As expected, the outerwear is incredibly strong and sees great use of tonal colour blocking.
A lot of people steer clear of shooting lookbooks in the great outdoors these days due to the recent over saturation, but this is a fine example that if done well, and relevant to the product, it still works.
The Carhartt Heritage Autumn/Winter 2012 collection has started to dip feed into Carhartt stores already. Expect to see it in their online store shortly.
