Diemme Marostica Low Vesuvio Sneaker (Frost Grey)

For those that find hiking boots a bit too far a leap, Diemme offer up their popular Marostica Low Vesuvio Sneaker in Frost Grey for Autumn/Winter 2012.

The Marostica is an incredible piece of footwear design. It manages to bridge the gap between sneaker and hiking boot with minimal effort, between sneaker and menswear footwear with ease. These are both things that a huge amount of brands have attempted and failed miserably, so it’s great to see it executed to perfection. As always with Diemme, the colour choice is spot on with this minimal Frost Grey popping nicely against the white outsole and complimented by the use of black D-rings and a rich brown suede heel panel.

Quality is exceptionally high with any Diemme footwear, so it goes without saying that these follow suite. The soft suede upper and equally soft leather inner make for a luxurious look and feel. The double-layered tongue is not only a key style feature of this model, but also a key practical feature, increasing the insulation of the shoe. Finished off with an embossed Diemme logo on the tongue, this pair of sneakers are a work of art.

Head over to oki-ni where you can find these for £210 a pair.
