Today rumours that the ‘CTBBQ’ Hyperfuse make up of the Nike Air Max 90 ‘Infrared’ would return were confirmed, as we learn that the much hyped shoe will see a release through Quickstrike accounts next Friday July 27th.
Late last Summer the sneaker world had all eyes on one very special shoe. The Crooked Tongues barbeque saw the ‘release’ of a Hyperfuse version of arguably Nike’s most infamous Air Max – the Infrared 90. Those that weren’t lucky enough to score a pair through Crooked Tongues’ various prize draws would go on to spend the next year searching far and wide for a pair… until now.
Accompanying the Hyperfuse ‘OG blue’ Air Max 1 which dropped last week, the Hyperfuse version of the Air Max 90 Infrared will finally see a release in the UK next week through Quickstrike accounts. The shoe has all the same characteristics of it’s leather, suede and mesh counterpart but this time with a fully teched out upper. The much love infrared colour pops just as much on this version as it does on the classic, and this will likely be just as popular.
With a release scheduled for next Friday July 27th, only pieces of info about the Hyperfuse Nike Air Max 90 Infrared have emerged so far and pricing is still tba. Most retailers seem to be opting for a midnight release, as Thursday enters Friday, with those who have confirmed to be stocking the shoe being Urban Industry, Hanon and Wellgosh.
