After initial previews appeared on the web a number of weeks ago, the countdown began to the release of French label A.P.C.’s latest collaboration with Nike. For many, the highlight of the four piece collection was this dark navy Air Max 1.
The good news is that the wait is over and the collection is now available from A.P.C.’s London stores. The shoe itself is a reserved take on the running classic, dressed almost entirely in a dark navy twill, offset with an olive swoosh and top-eyelet. Tongue branding is white to match the midsole (Nike Air on the outside, A.P.C. on the inside), and the exterior is finished with gum panels on the outsole. The remaining details remain inside, with a leather liner and individual guitar/dagger branding on the insole.
These will no doubt only be available in limited numbers and are sure to become a favourite amongst collectors. Pick them up while you can from either of A.P.C.’s two London stores – Dover Street W1, and Redchurch Street E2 – and online in limited sizes.
