Download: Gang Colours covers Craig David

Gang Colours is definitely one of the most promising electronic artists coming out of the UK at the moment. Here we see the Southampton based producer apply his now trademark sound to a Craig David classic – Fill Me In.

Opening up with a swell of synths and slow, pushed drums in true Gang Colours style, It’s near impossible to even recognise the cover until the vocals entire into the equation. The addition of added melody through a warm sub is always welcome when done well, and thankfully here it is. A near monotone vocal rendition of the infamous chorus manages to give the tune even more of an R&B vibe than the original.

If you didn’t know about Gang Colours before, or if you didn’t realise his potential, this should sort that out. Stream and download below.
