Folk have just released this batch of shirts from their AW12 collection.
Consisting of five different styles, the drop features some clean, smart shirting with the trademark quirky Folk detailing. The printed elbow patch shirt and three button shirts are the most simple and effective offerings, while the collarless grandad szabo shirts and the unique foldy pocket shirts offer something a little more interesting. The check knitted pocket Shirt is the most casual shirt in this drop and features a rather interesting knitted pocket (as the name would suggest).
A nice variation of materials across the range includes your more traditional chambrays and melanges as well as nice gingham check. Classic whites and blues feature heavily in the colour palette, keeping this drop quite traditional in nature. As always with Folk, these shirts are quite fitted and have a dropped rear. There are plenty of hidden details such as the pair of tonal people on the side of the knitted pocket shirt and the little people embroided into the inside of the sleeve on the grandad szabo shirt so that they are on show when the sleeves are rolled up.
Shirting is a real strong point in each Folk collection and it’s good to see that Autumn/Winter 2012 is no exception to this rule. Head over to Folk where you can find these shirts on sale now.
