For their latest collaborative project, this time in T-shirt form rather than footwear, London’s premier sneaker spot Footpatrol team up with the Classic Material collective and photographer Normski producing a series of photo print tees.

Each of the white T-shirts features a classic photo from Normski (Norman Anderson)’s archive of photographs of Hip Hop icons. His work includes images of Big Daddy Kane, Biz Markie, De La Soul, Erik B, Flava Flav, LL Cool J, Naughty By Nature, Run DMC and many, many more – a mixture of both portraits and live shots which look excellent on the series of tees presented. 5 photographs are selected, printed greyscale with the Footpatrol name underneath and the Gas Mask logo hem tag. The range is completed by a Classic Material logo tee.

Footpatrol are constantly coming up with unique collaboration ideas, and this project shows that those aren’t just limited to footwear. They’ll be available following the launch event next Thursday (August 16th) in store at Footpatrol. DJs Chris Read and Nick Armitage who formed the Classic Material project as a tribute to Hip Hop’s history will play on the night. You can see what it’s all about at Classic Material.
