Fred Perry Laurel Wreath 60 Year Anniversary Blank Canvas

Fred Perry have hit 60 and to celebrate they have created this Laurel Wreath Blank Canvas capsule collection.

Taking inspiration from some of the original designs from the very first Fred Perry Sportswear catalogue back in 1952 and bringing them up to date with a contemporary twist, this capsule collection is steeped in heritage without being vintage-chic. Taking what they do best and doing it even better, these garments have been made out of the finest materials that the folk at FP could get their hands on. The polo is made from a mercerised pique, the bomber is 100% Italian wool and the cardigan is Italian merino.

As capsule collections go, this is near perfect. It has a strong message without brandishing it all over the clothing itself. It all fits very well together, so well that you may have to take a second look at the photos to actually notice the differences. On top of all of that, the photography by Nick Griffiths is quite simply stunning.

You can get your hands on this collection in Fred Perry stores and online from the Fred Perry website, but don’t expect it to come cheap.
