Hanon x New Balance 1500HF ‘Chosen Few’

Most of the best New Balance collaborations originate in the USA, with the likes of Concepts, Ronnie Fieg and Undefeated, but every now and again the UK gets in on the action, like the upcoming 1500 ‘Chosen Few’ from Aberdeen’s Hanon.

Celebrating the 30th anniversary of New Balance’s Flimby factory in the North of England. The collaboration revisits the story that was started by Hanon’s ‘Northern Sole’ 577 and 576’s in 2006. The idea was to create the feel of a long lost classic from days gone by, keeping things simple with a straight-forward grey and navy colourway. Constructed from a mix of suedes and leathers, navy and grey make up the majority of the upper, with additional sections of teal and cobalt blue and the New Balance ‘N’ embroidered in white.

Finished off with a custom shoe bag, the New Balance 1500 will be available from Hanon on Friday 31st August.
