The New Balance M1500 is a cult classic and a treasured favourite with sneaker heads. Here we see three Made in the UK renditions in calm colourways.
With it’s angular shape and bold branding on the tongue, the M1500 is instantly recognisable. Very popular among the sneaker connoisseurs for it’s timeless styling and it’s luxurious approach to running footwear, the M1500 has always been a very sought after number. It’s never been a cheap piece of footwear, especially back in the early 90s, and the limited edition nature of this model keeps the availability low much in the same way.
This pack sees two suede clad versions (GSW & VSW) and one all-leather number (UC). The suede/mesh/leather mix is the more appealing option, especially with those rich New Balance materials and colours, but the leather/mesh would make for a more weatherproof and classic looking choice. All crafted in the Flimby factory, aka the nation’s pride when it comes to footwear, these are not only some of the finest crafted running shoes on the market but some of the most desirable. It still makes us happy to see the rest of the world hold up the Made in the UK New Balance higher than any other.
