Nike+ FuelStation opens on Clapham Common

As Nike continue to push their presence during the Summer of Sport, we see them open a pop-up Nike+ FuelStation on Clapham Common.

Created as a “digitally enabled sporting clubhouse”, the FuelStation plays host to a wealth of digital Nike innovations including Nike+ trial zones and NIKEiD terminals (with swanky Macs). As well as all of the techy toys, Nike are using the space as a place for people to come and seek advice from athletes, join a running club, get free training from Nike Master Trainers as well as a list of events to be hosted here throughout the Summer.

It’s nice to see things like this crop up in less commonly used areas and offer something to the community. As always with Nike, the architecture if magnificent and reflects that ethos of a sporting clubhouse for the new age. It is both elegant and striking, comfortably hosting a lot of Nike product without feeling overwhelming. The Lunar shoe foliage surrounding the FuelStation finishes it off with some classic clubhouse class.

Open from 07:30 – 21:00 every day on Clapham Common. It’s well worth a visit if you are near by.

  1. Only thing is the cost – £280 a year to use it.

You also have to buy once of the Nike fuel cell wristbands to get access to features.

  2. this is an amazing thing for Capham common , I have been there few times for classes and running and I really enjoy it.

  3. Dave Smaet is either lying or has not been to the space. The Fuel Station offers FREE advice, product trials, and workouts which the above brief article does not mention. It is not a waste of money because no money transactions happen here, it is only a clubhouse for working out, not a store! How is this a waste of money for the consumer?

  4. Dave is lying. All the classes are free and all product trials are free. There is absolutely NO cost to going to and participating in any sessions at the Fuelstation. Troll
