Norse Projects AW12 Elka Jackets

As the AW12 collection from the superior Scandinavians Norse Projects starts to arrive on our shores we see a few new takes on their Elka jackets taking centre stage.

When it comes to consistency, the Danish brand seem to have things down and collection after collection we see delivery of a high standard whenever they make the tweaks to their now staple Elka collaboration. For AW12 we see the classic jackets return in colours like yellow and forrest green with the addition of new variations on the silhouette. The more subtle of the new versions are the one colour ‘4 Pockets’, available in Stellar Blue and Butter Nut not too different overall from the Classic, but with a new pocket configuration and some very pleasing colour additions. It’s also available in a few colours as the elongated ‘4 Pocket Long’

The Elka Contrast Colour stands out a little more, this time concentrating the two-tone colour styling into the shoulder and elbow panels, these are available in black, ‘Blue Depth’ and ‘Deep Forest Green’ variations. As usual quality is assured from this collaborative effort with Elka, a brand who have years of wisdom when it comes to keeping the Scandinavians dry. Each jacket has a button snap and zipped front-closure, adjustable cuffs and a breathable interior lining to the 90% PVC outer shell.

It’s always a pleasure to see new things from Norse Projects who continue to execute with great consistency in streetwear and menswear. The new jackets are available now at Oi Polloi and Goodhood.
