Addict present their men’s Autumn/Winter 2012 collection with this lookbook shot by Dan Reid.
It comes as no surprise that there’s a heavy focus on outerwear throughout this lookbook. It’s something of a specialty for Addict and seeing as it’s Autumn/Winter, it’s the season for the brand to shine through. A lot of the clothing is surprisingly minimal, a direction that Addict have been heading down more and more of late. The brand continue to use their heritage style branding, with a UK focus.
Thankfully there is some camo in this collection. It’s something I didn’t think I’d be saying, seeing as every man and his dog is doing camo at the moment, but when it comes to Addict, there should be camo in every season. It’s just something they’ve always done well and for me, it’s an essential part of what the brand are about. The camo in this collection is slightly washed out, giving it a softer, more traditional edge than a lot of the brand’s past camouflages. The sheepskin collar camo jacket being a highlight of the collection. The knitwear is also a strongpoint and offers something a little more mature from the brand.
Addict’s AW12 collection is available now from addict.co.uk and all good stockists.
