Vans California x Barbour Capsule Collection

Vans team up with Barbour for this California capsule collection that includes an Era Wingtip, Chukka del Barco Decon and Classic Slip-On.

Barbour haven’t been afraid of collaborations recently, teaming up with a large (and well picked) selection of brands to put that classic Barbour feel to other classic products. Here we see Vans team up with the British old-timers to create a very Barbour capsule collection of footwear from the Vans California range – arguably the best range from Vans.

Consisting of an Era Wingtip, Chukka del Barco Decon and Classic Slip-On, the collection showcases a nice variation of Vans footwear and holds a solid central theme. Using the dark green waxed cotton that Barbour have become famed for, allong with some premium brown leather and leather laces, the collection oozes British quality and will most likely stand up strong to the British weather ahead.

It’s always nice to see brands like this come together in a successful manor, managing to maintain the character of both brands without compromise. The hidden Barbour branding on the underside of the Vans tab is a nice touch, not that people couldn’t guess their distinctive involvement in this collection.

The Vans California x Barbour capsule collection will be available from select Vans California stockists and Barbour stores, priced between £70 and £85 a pair.
