Recap: Bape London’s 10th Anniversary with YOYO and Joey Bada$$

Last week saw Bape’s London store pass it’s 10 year milestone and to celebrate they threw a party at The Alibi.

Outside, the queue was ridiculous, with the bouncers having to turn people away due to reaching capacity within the first hour. At no point throughout the night did it seem people were giving up either – the queue stuck around until pretty much closing time.

The night saw a return of Seb Chew and Leo Greenslade’s famous West London night YOYO, a much welcomed return. Fingers crossed it’s a future permanent fixture. Seb and Leo set the tone perfectly for a performance from Joey Bada$$. Throughout the whole of Joey’s set the room was packed with little chance of getting in, with camera after camera in the air trying to get a photo of the young MC at the center of a buzz frenzy at the moment.

Red Stag, Magners and Tiger Beer supplied drinks for the night and still in full flow, Seb and Leo stepped back up to take us through till 2am. With the room a little emptier after Joey, it made for the perfect setting to catch up with everyone, which in turn made for a really friendly and intimate vibe throughout the night.

Thanks to Bape and Happy Birthday.
