Selfridges have revamped the men’s shoe department in their London store, creating the largest men’s shoe department in the world.
At over 15,000 square feet, the new department is large to say the least and features over 250 footwear and sneaker brands. Made out of a collection of departments and store, the new area includes the likes of Offspring and Kurt Geiger alongside other bespoke brand boutiques and a made-to-order shoe salon. With driving shoes being the best seller at Selfridges, they have been given their own unique area that features bodywork from vintage Ferrari’s and chrome detailing.
The price range is beyond varied, ranging from as little as £25 for a pair of Havaianas flip-flops to £10,000 for a pair of bespoke Tom Ford boots. It goes without saying that there is an abundance of selection for everyone at every price point and Selfridges has usually offered up a reasonable selection of sneakers along with their smarter footwear. The new department is double the size it used to be and has a focus on shopping by category. It goes without saying that no expense has been spared in the re-fit and the space aims to bewonder.
