Victate present their Winter collection, titled Bare, referencing the practice of stripping things back and focusing on the bones of the range – the T-shirt and sweatshirt bodies – keeping designs monochromatic throughout to support the theme.
I must admit I’m a little late to the party here, but as a fan and follower of Victate for a long time, I couldn’t not give this a mention. The Bare collection includes 2 custom sweatshirts, with the ultimate care taken in every detail. The raglan cut sleeves and rounded, rolled hem create a truly unique shape, elongated cuffs allow for easy rolling, and the simple one colour graphics produce a very professional finished product. Two versions are available, the Heritage logo in heather grey, and the Discovery graphic by Teddy Wu on black.
The floral illustrated logo by Fatima Khan returns in black on Victate’s heavyweight fitted T-shirts – a slim pattern with tapered sleeves. The Heritage logo appears again, in two colour options, and the selection is finished with the Stamp T-shirt, utilitsing a previously unused graphic from the brand’s own archive. The brand’s Heritage Snapbacks are also available.
There are a couple re-workings here, with previously used designs making an appearance in a few places, and it would be great to see a few more new illustrations featured in future collections. The full range is available from Victate now. Check out the lookbook, which sees the product modeled by London break crew Natural Selectionz, below.
