Oneman launches own mixtape series; Solitaire Vol. 1

In a very interesting move, London’s DJ Oneman launches his own mixtape series with the announcement of Solitair Vol. 1.

It’s testament to the success that Oneman has stirred up over the last two years, that he can go back to DIY with mixtapes and get as much attention as any of the big mix series on the web. The mixtape accompanies his UK tour under the same name and features an obscene amount of tracks; 41 in 80 minutes. Being a Oneman mix, the track selection has a broad variation, summed up by the man himself as “a gamble really, mostly off the cuff mixes … a game of subsonic solitaire, where risks sometimes pay off”. Sounds good to us.

Head over to Oneman’s new website to download the mix for free. You can also stream it in full below. If you still somehow have never seen Oneman play out, make sure you get your ass to one of his tour dates as it’s a sight to behold.
