Publish SS13 ‘Artisans United’ Collection

Publish makes its way over the pond with their Spring/Summer 2013 collection entitled “Artisans United”. Here we take a look at the collection in their short lookbook.

Having already made their mark in their native land, Publish landed on our shores sometime last year when Open Lifestyle picked them up. Hailing from California, the brand has established itself in it’s own right as well as in collaborative efforts with Raised by Wolves and Reed Space. Showcased in this lookbook we see apparel consisting of chambray woven shirts, button front brushed twill jackets, M-65 inspired floral jackets, camo joggers, basic t-shirts and printed camp caps.

Publish come across with a premium subtle streetwear aesthetic that is far from offensive. The headwear that they produce is consistently strong and it’s really interesting to see how the newer US brands are taking on this tier of streetwear. The brand could face potential struggles taking on the European market, with such strong native brands with similar aesthetics already grounded here, mainly the Scandinavians who you could say are a couple of steps ahead. However, this is still another strong addition.

Publish “Artisans United” collection will soon be available from Open Lifestyle and Atoo.
