Route One ‘Have A Heart’ Campaign

Throughout the last week, UK retailer Route One have been running an excellent campaign together with youth organisation Skateistan that they call Have A Heart.

The campaign sees £10 from every skate deck sold online or in store donated to Skateistan, which goes to providing skateboarding and educational programming in Afghanistan and Cambodia for youths aged 5-18. Skateistan’s goal is to use skateboarding as a tool for empowering children, providing access to education and developing leadership opportunities, particularly for young girls and working children in both countries.

It’s quite simple really, buy a deck from Route One before the 22nd of February and help improve the life of a child through skateboarding and education – I’m going with this one. For more information check out Skateistan, and click through to Route One to make your purchase.
