As part of their new Spring/Summer 2013 collection, Triwa present this beautifully sinister triple pack of petrol blue timepieces.
This pack incorporates three of Triwa’s more masculine looking models; the Lomin, Nevil and Brasco Chrono, all sat on a leather strap of different sorts. A near black petrol blue is the theme here, and it works so well. Although Triwa’s motto in life is “Adding Colour”, we’re really enjoying seeing them explore their dark side here by removing it. For us, the winner is the Monochrome Lomin, with it’s sartorial woven strap and minimal face. This is one of the best products we’ve seen from the Triwa camp to date.
In true Triwa fashion, the brand have invited an artist to help them explore their motto of “Adding Colour”, this season inviting Italian artists Alberto Seveso to re-interpret the title. Working with ink and high-speed photography, Alberto has aimed to stop time in a click. In the words of the artist himself “the watches represent the time running and I have the chance to stop it in an image”. It’s a nice concept and works really well, emphasising the dark beauty of this triple pack.
The watches are available now from Triwa and range in price from £115 to £185.
