It’s set to be a busy few of weeks for UK brand AnyForty as they open their first physical store at Boxpark and release a new collection celebrating 5 years in the business.
The store officially opens to the public on Friday March 15th and will stock all of the items from the soon to be released ‘Blood, Sweat & 5 Years’ Collection, a celebration of the past 5 years with the re-release of 7 previous designs in new make ups, alongside a selection of new product. With an all black, white and red colour palette, the range includes 4 new illustrated T-shirt designs, 2 crewneck sweatshirts, 2 embroidered zip-hoods and 2 snapback caps. It’s the brand’s most extensive collection to date and another chance for fans to pick up designs from the past that they may have missed. New designs this season come from André Beato, VanilaBCN, Tom Mac and Mr Gauky and are already looking good from the few previews we’ve seen.

The brand’s first in-store event will take place on Tuesday 19th March for the launch of JamFactory‘s Shirley Creamhorn & Shithawk toys, from the same mind that brought us the Droplet. Both colours of the limited run toy will be available alongside a few special editions, and Jam Factory aka Gavin Strange himself will be there to sign and scrawl on any and all purchases. You’ll also be able to pick up a new colourway of a previously designed AnyForty x JamFactory T-shirt to seal the deal.

On Thursday 18th April the brand will host their Boxpark Takeover, a chance for you guys to step inside the world of AnyForty with live art from some of the brand’s huge list of collaborators, DJ sets from The Last Skeptik and DJ Mo Fingaz, and live performances from MC Illaman and beatboxer Hobbit. More on that to come.
We’ve been to an AnyForty event or two in the past, and like those you can expect this lot to be a hive of inspiration for any illustrator, designer or simply those who want to see the journey that this brand has taken on it’s 5 years so far. It’s just the start of what look to be a busy few months for the brand. Keep an eye on AnyForty for more information and follow the brand on twitter for regular updates.
