It’s our pleasure to present the Spring/Summer 2013 lookbook from indcsn, a brand we’ve been following, and have been big fans of since it’s inception in 2010.
Indcsn have been on an impressive journey in their 3 year existence, building an impressive roster of stockists in the UK and worldwide, collaborating with Dertbag and The Chimp Store on 5 panels and snapbacks, and regularly releasing sell-out collections. Recent releases have seen the brand grow from screen-printed tees and fleece to button-up shirts and coaches jackets with quality that matches, and often exceeds, that of established streetwear brands. Take a look through our archive and see the journey for yourself.
SS13 sees indcsn continue that story, a range of 4 T-shirt styles, 1 longsleeve tee, 2 button-ups and the return of the Gentleman’s Standard Coaches Jacket in black. Beanies this season are a simple rolled style, no bobble, coming in black and grey with a range of different indcsn logos.
The punk and hardcore influences that were present in the brand’s debut collection are still there, and indcsn continue to find interesting ways of weaving these inspirations into their range. The ‘Weight of the World’ pocket tee and longsleeve with which it shares a graphic are my personal picks, and of course the two button-up shirts are a definite standout, and something I will almost certainly be adding to my wardrobe.
The lookbook, shot by Joseph Dawson is a clean and quirky representation of the product; no frills (other than a plant or two), simply highlighting the product that this season has to offer. The final shot features the recent ‘friends & family’ issue pullover hood – so perhaps there’s hope for a less limited release soon.
The collection releases at 9am on Thursday March 14th – available from the brand’s selection of independent stockists and the indcsn website. Indcsn have made their mark and continue to stamp it; this collection does just that.
