Norse Projects team up with Mark McNairy’s New Amsterdam, creating this capsule collection of footwear for Spring/Summer 2013.
Taking two of their favourite models from the Mark McNairy New Amsterdam range and giving them a Norse Projects minimalism, NP’s head buyer Kevin has asserted the Scandinavian style onto these New York designed and British manufactured shoes. Contrast coloured welts take inspiration from key colours in the SS13 Norse Projects collection and add a splash of bright colour to these otherwise very reserved shoes, making them perfect for the sunshine.
Both the Back Strap Chukka and Penny Loafer are sat atop a 10mm heeled crepe sole, made from premium suede and a soft leather lining, with the Chukka coming in navy and “dirty buck” and the loafer coming in only navy. These are great for the Summer and with their high quality of manufacturing and their restrained uppers in regards to colour, these will stand the test of time both in regards to build and style.
