African Apparel x Ken Kagami “Long Neck Snoopee”

African Apparel have once again teamed up with Ken Kagami for their latest piece, featuring a comical take on the much loved Peanuts character Snoopy.

Ken Kagami is a Japanese artist who sets out to create surreal, humorous adaptations of familiar iconic imagery. This is the second time Bristol brand African Apparel steps up with the artist and once again they have taken on illustrating a parody of Snoopy the dog dubbed “Long Neck Snoopee”. Printed on a white t-shirt in black print we see the iconic image of the cartoon character lying on his doghouse, except this time with his neck stretched-out. Here we see African Apparel’s familiar humour, irony and surrealism, but still executing with sleek designs that look great; a balance that is often hard to pull off.

The Snoopee t-shirt is available now from the African Apparel webstore.
