New Balance Made In England 1500s

New Balance’s revered 1500 model has been in steady supply recently, with an array of strong releases scattered across the last couple of years. The two muted make-ups on this release are another potent reminder of the technical and lifestyle crossover appeal that makes this running classic so popular.

Both shoes are produced in the New Balance Flimby factory here in the UK and as you would expect the results are outstanding. The ‘Made In England’ seal of approval is always a sign of quality and there’s plenty of that here. The timeless suede and mesh material combination on the upper is accented by muted colours with a choice of grey or a tan available. This release evokes memories of past models and it causes comparable excitement of those times, specifically throughout the 2000s when the 1500 was the weapon of choice for many of New Balance collaborators.

The mix of technology and style that makes this shoe so distinctive and great couldn’t be more obvious here. Bravo New Balance.
