Bristol’s Skateboard Cafe have been having fun with a line of café inspired clothing for a few years now. Old favourites remain a staple part of the line, but each collection they are joined by new items and designs which develop the café theme. For Spring/Summer ’13 the brand add to their collection of tees, hats, hoods and boards with a selection of new graphics.
The Diner logo tee is available in two options – in a white front-and-back-print with coloured artwork, and in the new black/white tee which features a well-known (and relevant) Virginia Woolf quote on the reverse. The new Cafe Boy design by Bristol’s own Rich T gets the focus of the attention in the new collection, appearing on the back of a white tee and on a new board. Recurring themes like the ‘Mint Choc Chip’ and ‘Neapolitan’ designs appear on more boards, pullover hoods and the return of Skateboard Cafe’s pink and green ice-cream themed 5 panels, and of course, the brand’s Krispy as Fuck and Starfucks flips return in a number of styles.
The below video teaser, which introduces the Cafe Boy design, and the accompanying lookbook images pretty much sum this brand up. They are a bunch of guys not taking themselves (or anything) too seriously, and they’ll do well with it while they can continue milking those logo flips. You can pick up the new collection from a selection of independent skate stores nationwide, and from Skateboard Cafe now. The brand’s previous collections are available to view here.
