Mikey Trapstar is one of a small collection of creatives who head up Glacéau vitaminwater’s new #shinebright campaign which offers six unique opportunities for talented young people to work alongside these leading entrepreneurs.
As part of vitaminwater’s long term commitment to help young creative talent, the drinks brand have brought together 6 leading creative personalities from London, Paris, Copenhagen and Sweden to offer six individual opportunities covering fashion design, photography, journalism, and music production with the help of twitter. Trapstar founder Mikey represents the London end, alongside fashion blogger Susie Bubble, and is offering you the chance to showcase your designs in a collaborative pop up store by tweeting him a picture of your collection. Mikey will guide the winner through the process step-by-step, presenting a chance to gain valuable insight from someone who has helped build a hugely successful brand in the UK.
Mikey said “This is a fantastic opportunity for me to give back to the community and give up and coming talent the platform for exposure that I got when I started out. I’m really excited to collaborate with fresh new designers to help them get to the next level.” – hear more of what he had to say in the video below.
Seeing Trapstar get recognition from a globally recognised brand like vitaminwater is a great thing. Mikey’s image appearing on busstop billboards across London was a slightly surreal thing to witness at first, but it is surely well-deserved.
You can learn more about all six opportunities at the www.vitaminwatershinebright.com site, and to enter you’ll need to be following @vitaminwater_uk and include the #shinebright hashtag when you tweet.
