Urban Industry SELECTED issue 005

Urban-Industry-SELECTED-00501

Urban Industry continue their SELECTED editorial feature with their 5th issue, focusing on Crooks & Castles, Acapulco Gold, Benny Gold and Nike.

It’s been interesting to watch Urban Industry migrate their lookbooks into a healthy chunk of editorial using this SELECTED moniker and as far as we’re concerned it’s a good move. Not only do they continue to put out strong lookbooks, they seem to have got stronger, looking more like printed lookbooks since they became SELECTED and now they come with a hefty wedge of writing as well. It’s a strong format that we look forward to watching develop in the future.

For the latest “issue” Urban Industry have gone all-out Summer, with a more than idilic location and some lovely warm photography. Styling is kept casual and simple, with good use of accessories where needed. Nike dominate the footwear throughout this lookbook, other than the rare sighting of a pair of HUF’s and a pair of Vans. The use of one model in what is essentially one location keeps things simple, effective and powerful by not adding confusion.

Head over to Urban Industry to read the write up that goes along with this lookbook and to purchase any of the included product.
