Canada’s Livestock are known for their superior taste in footwear, and as part of Reebok’s Certified Network they are next to step up to the plate and produce their own take on the Classic Leather as part of the 30th Anniversary celebrations of the shoe.
With their Classic Leather Lux, Livestock wanted to create a standard base shoe shoe that would be both clean and wearable. Opting to coat the upper almost completely in a black nubuck, including a tonal Reebok logo on the side, the understated make up is offset with teal and yellow accents. The teal colour used is an ode to the former Vancouver Grizzlies basketball team, with nods to the city’s impressive skyline, and the piping around the Reebok branding is reflective. Yellow accents are present on the tongue, top eyelet and heel, as well as the Livestock branded footbed.
This is one of my favourite pieces to come from the 30th Anniversary collaborations. I love Hanons bold Aberdeen Leopards and Frank The Butcher’s BAU model, but the black and teal combo of Livestock’s effort is near perfect in my eyes.
The Livestock x Reebok Classic Leather Lux goes on sale this Thursday August 1st from 10am at Footpatrol, priced at £100, check out a detailed look below.
