Recap: Le Coq Sporif ‘Summer Bay’ Flash Launch

Last Friday SoleHeaven held the official European launch for Le Coq Sportif’s collaboration with Sneaker Freaker on the Flash model. Taking the ‘Summer Bay’ theme as the basis for the event, SoleHeaven ventured to nearby Tynemouth for an evening of chilled festivities in the British Summertime.

They were lucky enough to have the weather for it, and SoleHeaven kept it hot, taking over the Surf Cafe with a fully stocked BBQ and plenty of rum punch to cool things down a little. The Tynemouth bays provided the perfect setting, with plenty of Le Coq Sportif footwear on feet and Summer Bay Flash on display front and centre – SoleHeaven also produced a limited edition T-shirt for the event in corresponding sun-bleached colours, with a few still available online now.

As the night drew in, the party-goers made their way into Newcastle for the after-party hosted by local night Reign with a set from DJ Harry Love, who has also produced a nice throwback mixtape to celebrate the release, downloadable here. We’re sorry to have missed this one, but won’t be making the same mistake next time. Check out photos and video from the night below. The Sneaker Freaker x Le Coq Sportif Flash is now sold out, but you can shop the rest of the Le Coq Sportif range now at SoleHeaven.
